Review : Primark Stick on Nails

Review : Primark False Nails (French Tips)

Now i know that not everyone has access to Primark and its bargain price fashion and beauty but i just had to do this review for anyone who is looking into perhaps buying a more expensive set of falsies or maybe just browsing whats out there in the way of fake nails at home .

At £1.00 these are an absolute steal . £1.00 ! That's less than a one way bus journey to my shopping centre , Less than a bottle of Powerade , and certainly the cheapest set of false nails around (it even includes
adhesive glue !).
(i couldn't find an angle where my hands looked attractive : / )

Now first impressions :
a good range of sizes however i wish they'd had more smaller sizes than the bigger ones but i was graced with the hands of a hobbit and they have a wide demographic to fill so i can't fault them because i did get 10 nails which fit, and suited my fingers well , i think perhaps only one set of nails will come from this kit.The glue seems pretty standard adhesive , same size and after i used it i noticed it felt just as strong, dried just as fast and perhaps spread more easily than the glue in most ElegantTouch, Broadway and Nailene kits. No nail file was included which was the only thing away from the norm but to be honest i don't use the crappy little foam emery board that comes with nail kits - i'd advise those with an interest in nails to purchase a set of good (that doesn't mean expensive) nail files with a range of grains and  one glass/crystal nail file for the natural nail. The design (French Tip) was clear and quality with a lovely half moon tip and few imperfections i could see.

Application : The instructions say to apply the glue to your nail and press the false nail on for 5 seconds . I find that if i apply the adhesive to the false nail and then press it onto my natural nail that there is a more secure bond which i was happy to sacrifice a bit of neatness where glue was concerned . They easily stuck on straight and had a nice glossy appearance.
I used An Acrylic Nail Clipper to shorten some of my nails to the length i desired and smoothed the edges with a rough grained Emery board .

I LOVE THESE NAILS. Easy, Pretty and cheap as chips.

NOW HERE'S THE FUN PART ! Decorate as you will !!

The nails survived : Washing up, Shower time, exercise,, reading a book .
Didn't survive : sleeping (i had to glue half back on) !! x
Enjoy,
Sophie xx
