Review : Primark Stick on Nails

Review : Primark False Nails (French Tips)

Now i know that not everyone has access to Primark and its bargain price fashion and beauty but i just had to do this review for anyone who is looking into perhaps buying a more expensive set of falsies or maybe just browsing whats out there in the way of fake nails at home .

At £1.00 these are an absolute steal . £1.00 ! That's less than a one way bus journey to my shopping centre , Less than a bottle of Powerade , and certainly the cheapest set of false nails around (it even includes
adhesive glue !).
(i couldn't find an angle where my hands looked attractive : / )

Now first impressions :
a good range of sizes however i wish they'd had more smaller sizes than the bigger ones but i was graced with the hands of a hobbit and they have a wide demographic to fill so i can't fault them because i did get 10 nails which fit, and suited my fingers well , i think perhaps only one set of nails will come from this kit.The glue seems pretty standard adhesive , same size and after i used it i noticed it felt just as strong, dried just as fast and perhaps spread more easily than the glue in most ElegantTouch, Broadway and Nailene kits. No nail file was included which was the only thing away from the norm but to be honest i don't use the crappy little foam emery board that comes with nail kits - i'd advise those with an interest in nails to purchase a set of good (that doesn't mean expensive) nail files with a range of grains and  one glass/crystal nail file for the natural nail. The design (French Tip) was clear and quality with a lovely half moon tip and few imperfections i could see.

Application : The instructions say to apply the glue to your nail and press the false nail on for 5 seconds . I find that if i apply the adhesive to the false nail and then press it onto my natural nail that there is a more secure bond which i was happy to sacrifice a bit of neatness where glue was concerned . They easily stuck on straight and had a nice glossy appearance.
I used An Acrylic Nail Clipper to shorten some of my nails to the length i desired and smoothed the edges with a rough grained Emery board .

I LOVE THESE NAILS. Easy, Pretty and cheap as chips.

NOW HERE'S THE FUN PART ! Decorate as you will !!

The nails survived : Washing up, Shower time, exercise,, reading a book .
Didn't survive : sleeping (i had to glue half back on) !! x
Enjoy,

Movie Review : Orphan 2009

Okay , i don't normally do this kinda crap because i know nothing whatsoever about the technical quality / graphics/all that techie stuff - but i felt the need to do a very short review on this horrible yet brilliant film .

Orphan is a 2009 phsychological thriller and horror film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra starring Isabelle FuhrmanVera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard. The film centers on a couple who, after the death of their unborn child, adopt a mysterious nine-year old girl. Orphan was produced by Joel Silver andSusan Downey of Dark Castle Entertainment and Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran of Appian Way Productions

If i were to describe this film in short without any obvious spoilers - Industrial clamp, Adorable Max and in need of some orthodontics

This film was more suspenseful than gory which is good for us fainters but it had the occasional moment of oh my god what the fuck is she doing oh my god stop - which is gross and terrifying. This is i'm sure not a horribly scary film to those who are horror film watchers but i was an innocent and now that is lost to me .

Unfortunately, even though the acting in this film is genius and i fell in love with the little girl Max , i am now unable to ever adopt a child much older than 3 years old in case they turn around and kill everyone i love.
Enjoy and try not to change tabs too often when the freaky bits reveal themselves (i obviously never once switched tabs or left the room or hid behind a pillow , stupid of you to even think it to be honest) .

Enjoy,
Sophie

Look Makeup Review 2013

Look (does the word Look look strange to you ?)!!

A heads up about a great offer at Superdrug stores and www.superdrug.co.uk !

Well hello there !
I think we all know by now that i'm a cheap/skint kinda lass and so i was very happy to discover a certain offer taking place in Superdrug at the moment !
I have seen LOOK ! makeup around ye old drugstore before and mainly paid attention to it because of the packaging . The clear , simple design of the eye shadows and blushes in particular - They dont bother with the silly sponge applicators which i always loose within 2 days but instead make sure to give you a good amount of product - more than usual because they ensure that the packaging is just that - packaging - it's not a ploy (even though i think its adorable) it is to keep your product protected.

Look Statement Eyes Single Eye Shadow Satchel
Now the offer thats on is that basically all of their products are around half price - so i wouldnt spend £7.00 on a lipstick from a brand i'd never heard of ! but £4 for a lipstick ? £2 for an eyeshadow ?? Theyre amazing prices and i bloody love the products!
I only bought 2 lipsticks because i am truly skint but couldnt stop mysen !

Look Loud Lips Toffee Cup - £4.00

Look Loud Lips Toffee Cup
A very pretty nude colour ! great for the daytime with a pinky-brown blush , kind of a pinky mink color ! i love this its creamy , its not drying , its long lasting . And the lipstick cap is magnetic !! so no more lids falling off in your bag and your lipstick getting ruined ! The packaging is sleek and metal - it feels great before you even put the product on !
I also bought Look Loud Lips in Cherry Bomb (£4.00) which is a blue red lipsticck that an be used heavily for a fll red lip or applied lightly for a tinted look !

GO CHECK OUT THEIR OFFER WHILST ITS STILL RUNNING !

Enjoy ,
